Only two episodes have aired. It airs once a week.
As fufu said in answer to previous comments this shouldn't set us back as there are different QC'ers working on the diff series and we have plenty of translators and timers.

Is it just me or are Xia Zhi Xing's lines really weird? It's like they're dubbed over the original! XD The way I see it, they don't match her lip movements at all. But everyone else's lines are in sync with their lip movements. Hahaha, might also be that my eyes are playing mean tricks at me? :|

Again I would like to emphasize to those who are impatient to just calm down and, as many others have said, stop complaining. see, the bad thing about releasing all subbing eps at once is that it would take too long. this series is like being release only once ep per week. and it was fortold that this series would end between 17-20 ep in the taiwanese version. subbing would take time. waiting for the release of eps would take about 2 and 1/2 months. waiting for the subbing eps i would say at least 3 months. do u guys think u can wait that long? i know i can't b.c i am so obssess with Jimmy and Ha Na now.

yenoo what its pretty easy to understand their body language soo it wasnt really hard for me to get what theyre tryna pull ven tho i dont know taiwanese lol so just try. but then again, killing the excitement cuz we dont know specifically what it is haah. oh my i should shut up -__-
taiwanese / chinese dramas, as far as i know has a lot more and longer subs than any other adramas, so please be patient. just like the creator of this site said lol dont know the name. hana kimi ep 11 subs is equivalent to 3 korean eps. so let us not comment nemore shall we? pretty much why the subbing is taking long is we're complaining too much that is all. :) even interrogating.

It varies depending on the translators, timers, QCers, encoder, and any problems that arises with the video/audio. Some chinese phrases are quite hard to translate to English. It also depends on the people working on them.
Well, actually to fully understand how long it takes, try subbing an episode that you understand (i.e. anything on TV), even if it's English. Try it out, you'll see that subbing even English episodes take a lot of time.
Unless you can type at the speed of light, you'll have to rewind a lot of times to get the script done. Then comes timing every sentence. Then you have to QC it to make sure it's all correct and follows a format. Then encode the subtitles.
If you miraculously complete all of this within a day, please tell us how you managed to do so without spending the whole day on the computer and having a life.

I hardly think you people can do all that because everything takes time. If you don't want to come back to the blog then don't, it's not like we're making you come. It's not like anyone in sublimes will die if the subbing stops. More likely, it's your lost not sublimes.

Anyways, no offense to whoever uploaded the raw but the quality is not quite up to par with other dramas like Hana Kimi so I can see why it is taking you guys a long time to sub but I appreciate the effort. What is so hard about quality control?
Well...
Perhaps it is sometimes having to change every other line in the translations.
Perhaps it is sometimes having to change every other timing.
Perhaps there are idioms that make perfect sense in Chinese while you can spend an hour searching and still not figure out an English translation that makes sense without a million lines of Translation Notes.
Perhaps sometimes QCing takes longer than all other process combined due to having to look up phrases/uncommon words/Taiwanese slang so that viewers can understand exactly what they mean.
Perhaps we all have lives outside of subbing.
Perhaps we should produce subpar subs so that we don't take so long.
Perhaps we should take the subbing process off just like CWL to stop questions.
Perhaps I should go back to QCing...
btw, in ep 13, we get to see jimmy's more mature look. He's freaking hooooot! so aggressive and in control, so much different than the younger Tian Qi.
Once again, please DO NOT advertise on our blog! There are plenty of other places for you to do that!
